Welcome, cybersecurity enthusiasts and creative problem-solvers! It’s time to put your skills to the test with the third edition of the KPMG Cyber Hackathon. This year’s event offers two unique opportunities for participants either to engage in a technical competition or showcase their visionary ideas to expert industry judges: Technical Hackathon: Sign up (with a teammate, if you wish) then show up with your gear on the day and be ready to take on this year’s three-hour Capture the Flag challenge. Innovation Hackathon: In pre-registered teams of up to four people, choose from three real-world problems facing industries today, develop your innovative solution and provide your outline for consideration. The top three teams will be invited to present their ideas to our judging panel of industry executives. The hackathons will conclude with an award ceremony where we will celebrate the achievements and innovative solutions developed by the participants. Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams from each challenge along with the bragging rights of being the 2025 KPMG Cyber Hackathon champions. Join us for a day of teamwork, creativity, technical proficiency, and innovation! Not interested in competing but still eager to immerse yourself in the exciting realm of cybersecurity and innovation? This year’s hackathon isn’t just for participants—it’s open to industry professional and cybersecurity students who wish to observe, learn, network! Kicking off at 11:45am on the KPMG Pitch Stage, watch the Innovation Hackathon's three finalist presentations and see who will be crowned Technical Hackathon champion. Then, join us after for lunch and a networking reception with participants, industry professionals, and leaders in the field.
