 Meet the 2020 Student Companies

 

The Summer Incubator is a 4-month work integrated learning program that provides student entrepreneurs with everything they need to launch and grow a startup!

This program offers post-secondary students a unique opportunity to spend their summer receiving valuable support including access to Advisors and formal programming throughout the summer (May-August). At the end of the program, students will demonstrate what they have learned and how it’s changed their business, traction they’ve achieved, and what their next steps will be.

Discover #3: Monday, May 25 from 9AM-12PM

Discover #4: Monday, May 28 from 9AM-12PM

Sales: Monday, June 1 from 9AM-12PM

Inventures: June 3-5

Pitch Workshop: Monday, June 8 from 9AM-12PM

Pitch Coaching: Thursday, June 11 & Friday, June 12

Pitch Practice: Wednesday, June 17 from 9AM-12PM

Innovation Rodeo: July 6 - 10

July & August: Weekly Advisor Meetings

Eligibility & Commitment

Post-secondary students who have an idea for a startup or are currently pursuing a startup venture (note: research projects are not supported).

 

Students applying must commit to working on their startup full time and participate in all program workshops and events online.

 

Application Deadline: March 31, 2020

 

Two students per team (Founder/Cofounder)

 

Subsidy

Each student may be eligible for a scholarship* of $1,500/month for four months (May-August).

 

*Note this scholarship is not tax-exempt.
