More about Platform CalgaryCALGARY, AB – March 16, 2026 — The Platform Calgary Board of Directors announces that Jennifer Lussier has been appointed as the organization’s Chief Executive Officer, effectively immediately. Jen had served as the organization's interim-CEO since October of 2025.

Jen brings extensive experience into the CEO role:
- 7+ years of progressive experience on the Platform Calgary team. Initially joining the organization in 2019 as a startup advisor, she then transitioned to Director and subsequently Vice President of Growth leading the partnerships and revenue generation team. More recently she served as the Chief Operating Officer for over two years.
- 30+ years of experience in Calgary’s business community, including a background in marketing, branding, and tech entrepreneurship.
- Active community leader. In addition to supporting the broader tech community in various board positions, Lussier also serves on the Board of Trustees for Bethany Seniors, one of the largest not-for-profit seniors’ services and affordable housing providers in central and southern Alberta.
Jen's entrepreneurial background, and her deep understanding of the startup community, positions her well to maintain focus and momentum for Platform Calgary and the local innovation ecosystem.
