Now offered in a hybrid format, founders can join from anywhere in Alberta virtually, or in person in Calgary — making the program more accessible than ever.

Is Velocity Right for You?

We’re looking for Alberta-based companies who

• Registered business operating in Alberta
• Product ready for sale with broad market appeal and scalable potential (Tech Enabled)
• Evidence of product-market-fit including:
  
  • Minimum $1,000 in sales or recurring revenue
    
    • Signed letter(s) of intent or launching to a proven customer/active user base
    • Prototype completed and being tested with users (even if non-paying or Beta)
  • Defined go-to-market strategy and are deploying it
  • Ability to commit to the program in its entirety (6hrs programming & 1 hr of coaching/week)

What You’ll do In Velocity

• Establish a go-to-market strategy
• Understand investment readiness basics
• Enhance sales efforts and strategies
• Refine operations and team management
• Establish testing methodology toward product market fit
• Have a polished investment and community pitch
• Understand the different sources of funding and receive feedback from investors
• Prepare for Scaleup GAP accelerators

Engage is for you if you

• Have an early-stage plan for a minimum viable product (MVP)
• Have done customer discovery interviews with tracked learnings
• Can demonstrate customer desirability

What you’ll do in Engage

• Ideal customer discovery
• Solution prototyping
• Minimum viable product (MVP) creation
• Testing and validating business models

Traction is for you if you

• Have created the first version of your tech-enabled company – minimum viable product (MVP)
• Are ready and actively pursuing your first sales/customer commitment

What You’ll do In Traction

• Clearly identify first customers
• Develop a sales call and script templates to achieve early sales
• Build marketing and content strategies
