We are delighted to invite you to the Grand Finale of the AquaHacking Prairies Program, taking place in Calgary on February 5th, 2026. Since July, five dynamic teams from across the Prairie provinces have been developing innovative solutions to some of our region’s most pressing freshwater challenges. One of these finalist teams is proudly based in Calgary, making this event a true showcase of local and regional talent. At the AquaHacking Prairies 2025 Grand Finale, you'll be front-row as these emerging innovators pitch their solutions in a Dragon’s Den style competition before a panel of expert judges. This event offers a unique opportunity to witness the next generation of water-sector startups in action. With $35,000 in seed funding on the line, the energy will be electric! Prizes: 1st Prize: $20,000 2nd Prize: $10,000 3rd Prize: $5,000 Public Choice Award: $1,000 (your vote counts!) Beyond the competition, this event is a chance to connect with innovators, industry leaders, and community partners, and to be inspired by the creativity driving water innovation in the Prairies.
