- Rami is one of Canada’s top intellectual property lawyers. He is a five-time recipient of the IAM 1000 honour and has over fifteen years of experience in all aspects of intellectual property. In addition to law, Rami holds advanced degrees in physics, mathematics and engineering. He has worked at top-tier national and international IP law firms and in-house for an engineering company in the telecommunication industry. He now practices on Goodlawyer, where he enables innovative Canadian businesses to protect and profit from their IP.
- Lin has developed a deep understanding of the life sciences sector (and the importance of IP) through serving in a diversity of roles. She has conducted novel research and holds a Ph.D in biochemistry and molecular biology. She was the Co-founder & CEO of AnthoBio, a startup developing and commercializing plant-derived neuroprotective compounds. Currently, Lin serves as Business Development Manager at Calgary Economic Development, where she enables life sciences innovators at all stages of research and commercialization.
- As the Director for the ElevateIP, Kevin works to increase the quality of the intellectual property that powers Alberta’s start-up ecosystem. To do this, ElevateIP creates programs and partnerships that build access to IP expertise across the province and to the benefit of all Albertans, including historically excluded groups such as Indigenous communities, women, newcomers, and rural/remote entrepreneurs.
