The Center for Precision Agriculture and Sustainability (CPAS) at the University of Calgary is a collaborative hub, bringing together researchers, industry leaders, and farmers to foster innovation and drive advancements in precision agriculture to develop economically viable technologies to enhance farming efficiency, productivity, and sustainability across Alberta and beyond. CPAS and Innovate Calgary are hosting a series of three Ag-Tech Days to cultivate a fertile ground for exchanging ideas, experiences, and challenges and to foster a co-learning and collaborative environment to facilitate and promote innovations in precision agriculture. Each Ag-Tech Day is a combination of presentations, panel discussions, and networking sessions to offer insight into the current state of precision agriculture and pinpoint areas for further research, innovation, and commercialization. Through these Ag-Tech days, we anticipate sparking open dialogue, encouraging the sharing of insights, and paving the way for new transdisciplinary collaborations to facilitate the development and widespread adoption of efficient and sustainable agricultural practices. The first Ag-Tech Day will be held on June 25th. It will bring together various stakeholders to discuss the challenges and opportunities in precision agriculture. This is a hybrid event. Due to limited space, we review IN-PERSON registrations individually. Please reach out to Marian Danko at mdanko@innovatecalgary.com for the access code.
