Hosted by the University of Calgary Faculty of Science and the United States Consulate General of Calgary, the event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 29, in the MacEwan Hall Ballroom.
Freedom Dreaming will feature a keynote from Dr. Terrell Morton, a talk by Dr. Ti’Era Worsley, panels and dialogues about Black experiences in STEMM, a screening of Woman in Motion, a networking session, and a buffet lunch. Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to drop in and out as their class schedules allow.
