What is this program about?

You’re building something real, but most days still feel uncertain.

You’re juggling sales, marketing, financial decisions, legal questions, and customer conversations, often without knowing if you’re focusing on the right things.

Platform Pre-accelerator exists to support founders in this exact moment. It’s designed to provide the structure, accountability, and guidance to focus on what actually moves the business forward.

Why Register

Target Audience:

Program Structure:

Weeks 1-2: Foundations, in person & hands-on

Two intensive weeks of group workshops, where you do the foundational work:

  • Sharpen your ICP and value proposition
  • Build a go-to-market strategy you can actually run
  • Get sharp on your sales process
  • Understand what you need to get funding-ready
  • Learn how to tell your startup story

Weeks 3-8: Expert coaching, accountability & momentum

Where the real work happens:

  • Group coaching with a small cohort of peers tracking key milestones
  • 1:1 coaching focused on your specific bottleneck and the next move that shifts your numbers

Week 8: Showcase Night

Take the stage to pitch what you’ve built and where you’re headed while boosting your professional network and visibility. Participation in the Showcase Night is dependent on active participation, completion of deliverables, and progress made throughout the program.  Only 10 teams will be selected from the cohort based on progress made during the 8 weeks.

Throughout: Community

Social lunches, panels, and events across the program, so you leave with a network of founders and ecosystem partners who get it and are there to support your journey.

Admissions Requirements

To be considered, you need to:

  • Be actively building a Calgary-based technology company that creates and sells proprietary technology using software and/or hardware to solve real-world problems. Your primary source of revenue is from technology being developed, not from reselling an existing technology, nor from a consulting service.
  • Have a fully functional product live in market (beyond the idea or prototype stage)
  • Be actively selling and show verifiable early traction through market evidence (such as recurring revenue, active pilots, signed LOIs, and commercial contracts).
  • Be prepared to attend all 13 in-person workshops, a minimum of 2 group coaching sessions/week, and 2 pitch practice group sessions during regular business hours
  • Actively participate in all group and 1:1 coaching sessions demonstrating accountability,  proactive preparation, and hands-on execution.
  • Be open to direct feedback and willing to execute weekly growth experiments, and share your learnings and market evidence with the cohort as well as coaches
