What Is This Workshop About?

What You’ll Learn

  • How to identify and define a customer problem that is real, specific, and worth solving — even if you thought you already knew what it was.
  • How to build an early adopter profile grounded in evidence, not assumptions.
  • How to use the Lean(er) Canvas to organize your thinking, pressure-test your assumptions, and guide your next decisions.
  • How to design and conduct customer interviews that surface genuine insight — from people who haven't bought yet, and people who have.

What You’ll Do

  • Build & Present Your Lean(er) Canvas: Introduced in Week 1, your canvas will evolve across all four sessions as you test assumptions and gather real customer feedback — whether you're starting from scratch or revisiting what you've already built. By Week 4, participants share their final Lean(er) Canvas in a supportive environment focused on learning and clarity — not pitching.
  • Conduct Customer Interviews: Practice talking to real people, asking the right questions, and turning what you hear into actionable learning.
  • Refine and Validate: Each week builds on the last, bringing your canvas closer to a clear, evidence-backed picture of the problem you're solving and for whom.
  • Collaborate with fellow founders and get hands-on coaching across the four weeks

What You’ll Walk Away With

  • A clearly defined and validated customer problem — confirmed or reframed based on real evidence.
  • A refined value proposition connected to genuine customer pain.
  • A complete Lean(er) Canvas that reflects what you've learned, not what you assumed.
  • Confidence in what to test next — and what can wait.

Who This Is For

  • Pre-product or idea-stage founders who want to validate their direction before investing in development.
  • Founders who have shipped a product but aren't seeing the traction they expected and want to reconnect with their customer.
  • Early-stage entrepreneurs who want to deeply understand their customer before — or after — writing a single line of code.
  • Entrepreneurially curious individuals who want a structured, evidence-based approach to figuring out what to build — or what to fix.
