ICTC is seeking to learn about experiences with employer-supported upskilling and training initiatives for retail workers, particularly those involving programs where retail workers have gained or transitioned into tech-enabled roles. This research will identify the tools and best practices for implementing these programs, as well as how they can be applied more broadly across Canada to create effective, scalable pathways for the economic advancement of underrepresented communities. Based on this research, ICTC will develop an actionable and practical employer toolkit with best practices to support the increased representation of Black and Indigenous workers in leadership and technology-skilled roles as they navigate career transitions, upskill, and advance. Who Should Attend: Retail employers and HR leaders Training and upskilling providers Workforce development professionals and policymakers
