Bioenterprise, TEC Edmonton and Platform Calgary are kicking-off the second cohort of Alberta Yield, a program designed for Alberta-based innovation-driven agricultural technology or agri-food ventures. This cohort consists of 12 agriculture and food technology startup founders looking to gain skills in customer development, market validation, increasing sales, refining business models and improving investor readiness.
Throughout the program, startups will have access to a wealth of knowledge from entrepreneurs-in-residence, mentors, technical experts and customized business advisory services. The founders and leaders taking part in Alberta Yield will have support establishing their product or service, increasing their networks and accessing investment. Through their participation in Alberta Yield, startups will gain the skills and confidence to launch and grow their businesses.

Alberta Yield helps agriculture ventures in Alberta innovate and grow — continuing Alberta’s long history as a leader in agriculture. Through the partnership between Platform Calgary, Bioenterprise and TEC Edmonton, startups will benefit from a vast range of knowledge, experience and resources.
One-on-one coaching and mentorship opportunities are also available for startups and delivered by TEC Edmonton. Applications are accepted continuously and limited to five participants at any one time. Successful applicants will be added to a waiting list and sequentially rotated into this stream as mentor availability permits.
